Traffic is the life and blood of any website, without which there's no chance of increasing your ad revenue. Facebook traffic is social media traffic, and there are plenty of marketers who are successfully harnessing this source for tons of visitors. You can use a number of techniques at YouTube, Facebook - of course as well as Twitter; but Twitter may be the most difficult. The cost per click that you pay for PPC ads depends on the kind of keyword you choose to go for; the more popular the keyword is, the higher you'll end up paying. There is a balance with your budget, CPC and traffic volume so you do not have to wait forever. Do not ever approach this method without knowing exactly what you are doing.

In order to improve the performance for your PPC ads, keep an eye on the traffic.

You do have several options here which include serving ads, manually, that are in related areas of interest for your market. Adsense is just one option out of many, and you can also run your own ads for affiliate programs as well - up to you. With Adsense and all the others, your only involvement is to register then copy and paste the code on your pages. But remember that once you have done this, then you will be more familiar and it will get much easier.
