A Value-Based Marketing Approach to Determining Your Price Point

By Lanell Beckles

Are you ready to be one of the few successful people online? Success with be measured by the amount of money you're making. There are honestly a bunch of people out there who aren't making any money, but believe they should be. Some people fail to grasp the gap between what websites that get hundreds of thousands of visitors a day and the ones that get hundreds of visitors a month.

Having a website that has been online longer doesn't always explain the traffic. Although traffic does increase over time, your traffic will come when you start providing them with great value. There are two ways you can get a larger subscriber base, and one of the ways can be implemented now.

No one else online is you. No one has the same experiences, no one has the same life, and no one talks like you. Honestly, if you embrace your individuality and start blogging away about your life and create some compelling content and lessons around the things you learned in life, you would gain some followers. It's the reason people follow people; they don't follow information. Information is plentiful, but there are very few genuine people who let people into their lives.

Mastering the art of presenting information from your unique voice will only carry you so far. If you want to walk away from your offline life and make a living online, immerse yourself in learning skills that you can teach the public. Be a student of your craft and what you're providing and keep providing great value.

Word spreads fast around the Internet. Capitalize (and monetize) your growing fan base. Recommend great products and services that you approve of and build your brand through these recommendations. Once you have gained their trust and know they will buy from you, you will see four and five figure paydays quickly.

Build your value first through expressing your personality. After that, you will be based on your uniqueness in your delivery of new content in your field.
